Route Map

The journey starts with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m). From there, the path runs alongside the Dudh Koshi River, going through Monjo and into Sagarmatha National Park. It passes Phakding, then climbs up to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). From Namche, trekkers go higher to Hotel Everest View (3,880m) and visit Sherpa villages such as Khumjung. The trail then leads to the well-known Tengboche Monastery (3,860m). After that, hikers return the same beautiful way back to Lukla.
