The Renjo La Pass Trek is a great option for trekkers looking for a more remote, scenic trekking experience, away from the crowd, and focuses on the Himalayan experience, in the Everest Region. After the traditional route to Namche Bazar, it branches away towards Gokyo Valley and its sparkling blue lakes. The pass itself is another trekker’s destination at the Renjo La at 5,360m, and is a great viewpoint for Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Many trekkers follow on to Gokyo Ri, and up there, trekkers will see some of the best views in the region. This trek is challenging, and is very rewarding in terms of views and the experience of the traditional Sherpa culture.
