Day 1: Arrival in Nepal and Transfer to Hotel
- Warm welcome by our representative upon arrival in Nepal, followed by a smooth transfer to your hotel.
- Enjoy leisure time to relax or explore vibrant cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Lumbini.
Day 2: City Tour and Trek Preparation
- Discover the charm of the city with cultural highlights and local experiences.
- Prepare for your trek with a detailed evening briefing and ensure all equipment and permits are ready.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar (2850m) (240Km, 8Hrs)
- We depart early from Kathmandu by jeep, driving for 8-9 hours. The scenic journey follows the Sunkoshi River, passing through Ghurmi Village, dense forests, terraced rice fields, and rivers.
- Upon reaching Dhap Bazaar, we take a relaxing stroll through the vibrant local markets. Overnight stay at a comfortable mountain lodge to rest for the next day’s trek.
Day 4: Trek from Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre (2920m) (14Km, 6Hrs)
- The trek starts from Dhap, where you’ll soon be greeted by the stunning peaks of the Numbur Himal range as you approach Sigane. The first part of the journey follows a road under construction for a few hours.
- The first village you’ll reach is Japre perched above a deep valley offering breathtaking views of Everest and Numbur Himal. A charming Buddhist monastery and stupa mark the spot
Day 5: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m) (14Km, 6Hrs)
- From Japre, the trail ascends to Bhulbhule with stunning Everest views, where it splits towards Pikey Peak. You’ll pass ancient yak homes and a long mani stone wall, then trek through a lovely rhododendron forest, especially beautiful in spring.
- After leaving the forest, it takes around two hours to reach Pikey Peak base camp, where you’ll overnight at a mountain lodge, surrounded by scenic landscapes and tranquil nature.
Day 6: Trek from Pikey Peak Base Camp to Summit (4065m) then descend to Jasmane Bhanjyang (3550m) (6Km, 5Hrs)
- Begin early to reach Pikey Peak for breathtaking sunrise views of Everest, Thamserku, and other towering peaks like Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga, creating an unforgettable panoramic spectacle.
- After soaking in the majestic views, descend to Jasmane Bhanjyang for a restful night. The descent offers a challenging yet rewarding trek through steep terrain.
Day 7: Trek from Jasmane Bhanjyang to Junbesi (2700m) (11Km, 5Hrs)
- Begin your day with a scenic forest walk leading to open meadows, reaching the peaceful village of Taktor for lunch.
- Continue on a wide dirt trail to Junbesi, stopping at a serene Buddhist Monastery on the way; Junbesi welcomes you with its stupa, warm tea houses, and rich culture of Sherpa, Magar, and Tamang communities.
Day 8: Rest day in Junibesi, and excursion to Thupten Choling Monastery and a visit to the Everest View Point.
- Visit Thupten Choling Monastery above Junbesi, one of Nepal’s largest monasteries, home to many female monks. Explore its serene halls, friendly atmosphere, and traditional kitchens.
- Trek through a forest to reach a high ridgeline offering spectacular views of Ama Dablam and Mount Everest. A perfect spot for a peaceful, scenic walk.
Day 9: Trek from Junbesi) to Phaplu (2450m) (14Km, 6Hrs)
- After breakfast, follow the descending trail along Junbesi Khola to a steel suspension bridge, then reach the riverside village of Beni Ghat, surrounded by serene landscapes.
- Continue trekking on the scenic route to Phaplu, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Sherpa cultural event with local food and drink, marking a memorable conclusion to your Pikey Peak journey
Day 10: Drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu (1400m) (280Km, 9Hrs)
- Depart Phaplu by shared jeep and enjoy a scenic journey back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a relaxing end to the trek.
- After checking in, feel free to explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu or unwind at your accommodation.
